Dr. Claudine Michaud - Medical Director: Radiologists in Muscular Skeletal /Abdominal Imaging

As our Medical Director at Ottawa Valley MRI Centre, Dr. Michaud is responsible for interpreting Muscular Skeletal MRI, abdominal & pelvic images & oversees the radiology team.

Dr. Michaud’s experience and training makes her one of Canada's MRI specialists. She is on the executive committee of the Royal College of Canada in radiology, and has lectured in numerous national meetings.
Dr. Michaud is a graduate of medicine from Laval University. 

After 13 years of academic work at the Ottawa Hospital, Dr. Michaud is a fulltime member of the MRI radiology department of the Monfort Hospital and a teaching professor of Radiology at The University of Ottawa.

Dr. Emmanuel Simmantirakis - Neuro Radiologist

Dr. Simantirakis is a graduate of medicine from McGill University where he also did his radiology training.  Dr. Simantirakis completed a two-year fellowship in Neuroradiology at the University of Toronto.  Dr. Simantirakis has worked as a neuroradiologist at the Hamilton Health Science Centre and the Ottawa Hospital.  His training and experience gives Dr. Simantirakis in-dept knowledge and expertise in diagnosing the wide range of neurological pathology that exists. Dr. Simantirakis is currently a fulltime member of the MRI radiology department of the Monfort Hospital.
