Completing the referral form
Physicians must clearly outline the patient’s clinical indications and be very specific to the area of the body to be examined.
If the patient has had previous diagnostic tests of the same body part (for example: X-Ray, CT scans or previous MRI scans) these results should be made available to our radiologist at the time of the patients MRI exam.
If any of the medical information is missing or if the patient’s contact information is missing this can lead to a delay in the patient’s MRI exam.
